Problem<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”small” position=”center” color=”#31298a” thickness=”1px” up=”5px”][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_column_text]The correct and timely execution of phytosanitary treatments is essential to ensure the achievement of a satisfactory production both in terms of quantity and quality.<\/strong> This activity represents an important item in vineyard management costs and can have important impacts on the environment and the consumer; therefore it must be sought a technical solution which, by safeguarding the health of the grapes, also pays attention to human health and resources waste limitation (pesticides, fuels, water).<\/p>\n

Today this problem is faced through the use of the so-called recovery machines, which however have considerable limitations (due to weight and maneuverability) if used in hilly environments, typical of Tuscan vineyards and of many other Italian winegrowing areas. <\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”60px”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”grid” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” background_color=”#f8f8f8″ z_index=”” el_class=”arrow-white”][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”95px”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Solution<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”small” position=”center” color=”#31298a” thickness=”1px” up=”5px”][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_column_text]The KATTIVO project consists in the development of a technological kit, easy to apply and <\/strong>economically sustainable, which, applied to traditional atomizers, allows the distribution of plant protection products at variable dose<\/strong>according to the volume<\/strong> of the canopy to be treated<\/strong>, allowing to reduce the water wastage and the use of pesticides, in particular for vineyards located in hilly areas (like in Tuscany) where the product recovery machines have difficulty to transit due to excessive slopes.<\/p>\n

Goals<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”small” position=”center” color=”#31298a” thickness=”1px” up=”5px”][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_column_text]The aim of the KATTIVO project is the promotion of phytosanitary treatments with variable mix volume, identifying “flexible” and low cost systems to be applied to already existing atomizers that allow the real time detection of the variation of the crown of the crop to be treated, thanks to sensors that collect the volumetric data and, through the processing of the same through an algorithm, translate it into a modulation of applied mixture volume.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”60px”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”grid” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” background_color=”#f8f8f8″ z_index=”” el_class=”arrow-white”][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”95px”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
